Stemming from his childhood, Barry’s overriding passion has always been for historical dramas. The majority of his non-writing career has been in automobiles, which has sent him globe-trotting around the world. It was also the inspiration for him to tell the real story of The Bentley Boys!

Barry has attended various industry courses with LSF, Raindance, Bang2write and The Script Factory. He regularly attends the London Screenwriters’ Festival and is a member of numerous online Scriptwriters’ groups.

When he’s not writing, Barry can be found walking with his wife and dogs along the beautiful beaches of the Viking trail in Margate.
